We celebrated the birthday of Mr.Malcolm Wallace, a long time veteran that turned 100 years old with family, friends, and the VFW of Brookhaven. What a special day it was 🥳🥳🥳 Mr. Malcolm was drafted to WWII before he could graduate high school - on his 100 birthday Cherise Micole Franklin our activity director planned a surprise party and graduation ceremony for him 🥹 none of us were ok 😭 crocodile tears! He is precious! Wakes up every morning and makes up his own bed - corners tight - with his American flag blanket on top. It really puts things in perspective!! He’s still doing that at 100 years old!!!

We had a wonderful week celebrating all of our great Nurses, we couldn’t do it without each and every one of them, thank you Nurses! Thank you Arden Hospice for the delicious ice cream bar and thank you Gentiva Hospice for the taco bar provided at lunch today, we appreciate it more than you know!
