We were honored to welcome U.S. Representative Michael Guest to Diversicare of Brookhaven! 👏

During his visit, Congressman Guest toured the center and spent time with residents, caregivers, community leaders and long-term care advocates. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the compassionate care our team provides each day and discuss important issues affecting Mississippi seniors, including workforce challenges, Medicare Advantage and access to post-acute care.

We appreciate Congressman Guest taking the time to listen, learn and see firsthand the meaningful relationships our caregivers build with residents and families. We also thank Ricky Saltzman, President and CEO of the Mississippi Health Care Association, for joining us and supporting this important conversation.

We look forward to continuing to work together to strengthen long-term care for seniors throughout Mississippi.

​We had an incredible day at Diversicare of Brookhaven! The MS 3 Band dropped by to perform a fantastic live set for us, and the turn-out was amazing—nearly half of our residents gathered in the main room to tap their feet, clap along, and enjoy the music. 🎸🥁
​Nothing brings smiles and brings a community together quite like live music! A huge thank you to the band members for sharing their talent with us today.
