Everyday Brookhaven Fire Company firefighters and EMT's will at a moments notice, set aside their personal interests to respond to a variety of calls, not to mention the countless hours spent training and fund raising.

Early this morning at approximately 3:48 a.m., Rescue 52 was dispatched to the intersection of E. Dutton Mill Road and Mary Anne Drive in Brookhaven for a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle on its side with one occupant down on the roadway. Rescue 52 assisted with securing the scene and providing assistance.

Later in the morning, crews were called back into service to assist with a reported building fire in Nether Providence Township.

Last night at 8:55pm, Duty Engine 52 was dispatched to the intersection of Rogers Lane & Crumwald Lane in Nether Providence for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident. The Engine arrived to find one vehicle into a pole. Luckily, no one was injured and the Engine went available after 15 minutes.

The Duty Engine crew handled 2 other emergencies.

Volunteer spotlight: Marquise Waller 🚨

Marquise Waller recently graduated with his Firefighter I certification from the Delaware State Fire School’s Fire Academy, where he learned structural firefighting, vehicle rescue, and hazardous materials mitigation. He joined Brookhaven Fire Company as a junior firefighter in 2022, and when he turns 18 next month, he’ll officially be an interior firefighter.
