💛 FREE TO ATTEND. NOT FREE TO PUT ON. 💛
Our 6th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Newton Ceremonial Celebration is quickly approaching, and we need your help to bring this year’s gathering to life.
On Monday, October 12, we will once again come together at Albemarle Field for a day of Indigenous ceremony, culture, education, music, dance, traditional knowledge, food, art, and community.
🌿 This year’s theme is “Medicines of the Lands: Healing Through Ancestral Plants.”
Indigenous Peoples Day Newton is FREE and open to the public because we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience, learn from, and celebrate Indigenous cultures and contemporary Indigenous voices.
But keeping it free takes community support.
Your donation helps us provide honoraria for Indigenous Elders, artists, cultural educators and presenters; travel and accommodations for invited guests; ASL interpretation and accessibility; youth programming; tents and equipment; and required police, fire, sanitation and event expenses.
Every gift matters — $10, $25, $50, $100 or whatever is meaningful to you.
Businesses and organizations can also support this gathering by becoming an official 2026 sponsor.
