The beach and the laptop, at the same time. That’s not balance — that’s just work with a better view. 🌊

This Labor Day, ask yourself: am I making room for the life I’m working so hard to build? Not “how do I stop working” — but “when do I stop”?

Sometimes it’s answering a few emails from the sand. Sometimes it’s closing the laptop and getting in the water. The skill isn’t working from anywhere - it’s knowing when to.

Happy National Read a Book Day! 📚

We asked our team what our next read should be — therapy-related or not, whatever came to mind. What we got back was a shelf all its own: Buddhist wisdom on sitting with suffering, a sci-fi favorite with “too many thoughts to fit in one sentence,” a memoir on memory and family, a duology that stayed in someone’s head for weeks, and yes, that very long, very beloved David Foster Wallace novel.

Books meet us where we are. Sometimes that’s in a self-help chapter. Sometimes it’s 1,000 pages of fiction that just happens to say something true.

Swipe through for the full list, and tell us in the comments what’s on your nightstand. 👇
