“As a first-time mom navigating pregnancy in a foreign country, I knew how important it was to feel truly safe, supported, and heard by the provider I chose. From the very beginning, Oula felt different. I never felt rushed during any of my midwife appointments—I always felt like I had the time and space to ask every question or share any concern. That level of communication and accessibility meant everything to me during pregnancy.

I feel incredibly lucky to have had such an amazing care team throughout my pregnancy and birth experience. Midwife Melissa was there attending my birth, and Midwife Laura delivered my baby—something I’ll always be grateful for. Midwife Chidera was there throughout my pregnancy, answering so many of my questions and helping me feel reassured every step of the way. Shai made my sonogram appointments some of the most joyful and memorable experiences—always warm, fun, and positive.

I have to mention Talia at the front desk—she is truly exceptional. She was always on top of our appointments, organized, proactive, and so helpful. Whenever I had a question, someone was always available in the patient portal to respond and support me — organized, responsive, and thoughtful. Starting now, you’ll have one dedicated provider — midwife or OB — who knows your full story and is with you throughout your pregnancy.

Here’s what’s changing:
• One primary provider, start to finish. We’ll make sure they’re a great fit for you.
• Already in care with us? We’ll ask who you’d like as your primary provider at your next visit.
• Choose a midwife or OB — your choice of who to see, based on your health history and what feels right for you.
• Our collaborative model isn’t going anywhere. Midwives and OBs still work together in clinic and at the hospital. That’s what makes Oula, Oula.

Continuity of care means your provider shows up already knowing you — your preferences, your concerns, your history. That’s what this is about.

No matter which pathway you choose, your care remains personalized, collaborative, and centered around you.

We asked our community what motherhood has taught them over and over again. What came back were echoes of the same truths: joy intertwined with grief, pride alongside fear, worry softened by surrender, complexity met with humor. So many different experiences, all living side by side.

At Oula, we know motherhood is never just one thing. It is layered, evolving, beautiful, exhausting, transformative, and deeply human all at once.
