Once, while returning from a congress in Lviv with a fellow lecturer, we spoke about our professional journeys. At the end of that trip he told me a sentence I never forgot:
“Your success is the work of your entire family. Almost every close relative of yours is a doctor.”

His words stayed with me. My family includes dentists, dermatologists, surgeons — several generations of medicine passing their passion forward.

And watching today’s industry leaders — like Nazar Mykhailiuk continuing his family legacy, or the renowned Brazilian lecturer who spoke about his grandfather the dentist — I realized once again:
medical dynasties shape the future of our profession.
And I am grateful to be part of one.

Having attended the Meeting for the third consecutive year, I can already observe how the American dental market is shifting: more integrated care, stronger emphasis on interdisciplinary education, and an increasing connection between clinical science and business innovation.

Watching these changes unfold each year feels like witnessing the history of dentistry being written in real time — right here in New York 🗽
