CELEBRATING BABIES! Today Kings County held its Annual Baby Shower for expecting moms.

The mothers-to-be learned about services the hospital and state offer, won prizes for participating, and walked about with new items for their baby. A great celebration of the new life we will welcome here at Kings County! Thanks to our staff and the over 30 moms that we were able to celebrate with.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week!

Our Kings County Hospital lactation team recently hosted an in-patient event to educate and support new parents. The team demonstrated proper breastfeeding techniques, shared information about our Baby-Friendly® practices, and provided helpful resources to empower families on their breastfeeding journey.

Families also went home with diapers and other baby essentials!
