Happy World Breastfeeding Week!

Our Kings County Hospital lactation team recently hosted an in-patient event to educate and support new parents. The team demonstrated proper breastfeeding techniques, shared information about our Baby-Friendly® practices, and provided helpful resources to empower families on their breastfeeding journey.

Grandparents play an important role in keeping children safe!
Join NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County for a free Grandparenting Class at St. Gabriel Senior Center on Wednesday, July 29. Participants will learn essential skills including CPR, first aid, infant and child choking rescue, and behavior management.
The class will be led by Safe Sitter registered instructors and is designed to help grandparents feel confident caring for their grandchildren.
