Belonging isn't the same thing as fitting in.

Many children (especially neurodivergent children) learn to hide parts of themselves in order to be accepted. But lasting confidence grows when children know they don't have to become someone else to be worthy of connection.

In this month's SLP blog, we're exploring the difference between fitting in and belonging, and how parents can help children build a strong sense of self while navigating friendships, school, and the world around them.

Read the blog and join the conversation. 💛

In this video, we talk about helping neurodivergent children navigate friendship challenges, cope with rejection, and develop the skills needed to build meaningful connections.

Because belonging isn't about having lots of friends- it's about having relationships where you feel accepted.
