Did you know that Ralphie's iconic glasses in A Christmas Story were actually Peter Billingsley's real glasses, and he kept them, the bunny suit, and the BB gun after filming; the broken lens was achieved with a crack painted on, and a detail like the "three-barrel hinge" was an anachronism, not invented until the 1980s, adding to the movie's charm.
