Lillie Mae will join Black Theatre United and Black to Broadway Committee for the 6th Annual Broadway Celebrates Juneteenth concert on Friday, June 19th, 2026, starting at 4pm, LIVE in Times Square. Part of The Broadway League’s Black to Broadway initiative, Broadway Celebrates Juneteenth, presented by Flagstar Bank, returns to Times Square with Corbin Bleu of Broadway’s The Great Gatsby serving as host. Created in partnership with BTU and BTC, this year’s concert will feature performers from 17 shows including: & Juliet; Aladdin; Buena Vista Social Club; CATS: The Jellicle Ball; The Great Gatsby; Hadestown; Joe Turner’s Come and Gone; The Lost Boys; MJ; Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Ragtime; SIX: The Musical; Titanique; Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York); Wicked; the upcoming show WANTED and the return of the kids of Young Gifted and Broadway. All performances will be accompanied by live music provided with support from The Music Performance Trust Fund and the Film Funds. Broadway Celebrates Juneteenth has become a day of great joy. This year’s event will include the presentation of the Juneteenth Legacy Award to award-winning actor, director, and choreographer, Debbie Allen!
