Lips age in more ways than volume alone. They lose structure and position too, and restoring them naturally means addressing all of it. This patient came to me seeking a solution for thinning, aged lips. Her lips had lost not only volume but also their position, with downturned corners, an elongated upper lip, and very little show of the pink portion of the lip. This is a multidimensional problem. She chose to begin her aesthetic journey with focused surgery around the mouth. What you see here is her one year follow up.

Procedures performed:
• Subnasal lip lift
• Corner lip lift
• Lower lip advancement (also known as a direct lower lip lift)
• Age appropriate filler to restore volume

This is an example of NOT relying on filler to do something it simply cannot do. The result is structural, natural, and age appropriate, and the lips are intentionally under filled so they look plausible alongside the rest of her complexion.

A few months after surgery, I had the chance to catch up with my beautiful patient. She was bothered by the profile of her nose, a bump on the bridge, and a drooping tip, so I performed a cosmetic septorhinoplasty to create a more natural appearance. Part 2/2: what I mean by “conservative approach“ when it comes to non-surgical treatments. The most common 2 requests I get is

Just 2 months post op and this transformation speaks for itself.

This beautiful patient came to me in her late 30s seeking a more refined jawline, neckline, and definition through the lower face. With moderate skin excess and laxity on the physical exam, here is what we achieved together as the most durable and effective option:

• Extended deep plane facelift
• Deep plane neck lift with platysmaplasty and deep neck contouring
• Extended chin prejowl implant
• Lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning

Together, these structurally rebuilt the silhouette she was hoping for, in support of beautifully natural results that speak for themselves. She does not appear “surgical”, “tight”, or “overdone”. This is the beauty of modern techniques that work on deeper structures.

Only 2 months out and she is healing beautifully. Results will continue to refine and settle over the coming months, but this is already such a natural, powerful change.
