Been having a busy past 2 months of teaching Childbirth Education classes and Newborn Care classes privately for my expected families.
Beside attending births and encapsulating placentas, I enjoy teaching all about birth and babies!
I bring my realistic babies and materials over to my client homes, teaching them hand-ons on how to:
Pick up, hold, pass babies
Diaper changing
Different ways of burping
Swaddling
Practice safe sleep😴
Baby wearing
Putting baby on car seat
Breastfeeding positions 🤱🏻
Changing baby clothes 👕
Tummy time
Understanding different baby cries
Sponge Bath 🧼
And more!
I learned that if new parents remember more if they’re hands on with a realistic baby doll. In preparation for their own baby.
