I have never regretted spending money on these 5 things in my yoga studio.
1. Great people.
The right team makes everything better—the member experience, the culture, the quality of what we offer, and my ability to actually step away from the business.
2. Anything that makes our members feel special.
Milestone prizes. Cold towels after hot classes. Handwritten notes. Little surprises. Celebrating someone’s 100th class like it’s a REALLY big deal.
Because to them, it is.
Our members tell us all the time that they aren’t celebrated like this anywhere else.
That’s exactly the kind of place I want to build.
3. Software that makes everyone’s life easier.
If technology can save my team hours, eliminate manual work, give me better data AND create a smoother experience for our members, I’ll pay for it.
Hi, Walla . 👋
4. Business coaching.
I’ve never regretted paying to shorten my learning curve and become a better business owner.
It’s a big part of why I’m so passionate about coaching studio owners now, and why we built AYC’s Studio Business Accelerator the way we did. Studio ownership is a whole lot easier when you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
5. Beautiful studio merch.
Not another random T-shirt with our logo slapped on it.
Merch people actually want to wear because being part of your studio means something to them.
Ancient Language Yoga Wear understands the assignment. 👏
Being financially responsible doesn’t always mean spending less.
Sometimes it means knowing exactly where spending MORE creates a better business.
Studio owners: what’s one thing you’ll never cheap out on?
