SHOULDER INSTABILITY WITHOUT DISLOCATION - IS IT POSSIBLE?
Yes! Your shoulder can be unstable even if it has never fully dislocated.
This happens when the structures that keep the joint in place become stretched, weakened, or damaged.
⚠️ Common signs include:
• A feeling that your shoulder might slip out
• Clicking or shifting sensations
• Pain during overhead movements
• Weakness or difficulty lifting your arm
What causes it?
Previous injuries, repetitive movements, ligament laxity, or damage to the shoulder’s labrum.
Early diagnosis and targeted physical therapy can help improve stability. Some cases may require surgery.
