OBH At Your Door, led by One Brooklyn Health’s External Affairs team, brings health education, preventive screenings, hospital resources, fresh produce, and connections to care directly into the communities we serve. Through partnerships with churches, schools, senior centers, nonprofits, housing organizations, and other trusted community partners, we are meeting residents where they live, work, worship, and gather. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Chkhikvadze, Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopist and Gastroenterologist, to the One Brooklyn Health family!

Dr. Chkhikvadze brings extensive training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, gastroenterology, and hepatology, including advanced endoscopy training at NYU Langone Health and a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.

Her expertise includes EUS, ERCP, complex polypectomy, EMR, endoscopic suturing, interventional EUS, complex pancreatobiliary care, and other minimally invasive endoscopic procedures.

Passionate about expanding access to advanced gastrointestinal care, Dr. Chkhikvadze looks forward to advancing early detection and treatment while helping build a comprehensive advanced endoscopy program for the Brooklyn community.

Community health starts with showing up.

One Brooklyn Health was proud to recently connect with our neighbors through two meaningful community outreach events.

At the Quincy Street Senior Residence, our team participated in “Huddle for Health” in partnership with Healthfirst, sharing valuable information on Diabetes Self-Management and empowering seniors with tools to take an active role in their health.

Our HIV Program team also connected with community members at the Brooklyn Public Library – Crown Heights Branch, providing education, raising awareness, and sharing important health resources and services.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to meet our community where they are and continue building a healthier Brooklyn together.

From health screenings and wellness resources to family activities, giveaways, and community connections, it was wonderful to bring our neighbors together for a day focused on health and wellness.
