Today, Kim Black with Elite Home Health presented a fun and informative program called Fancy Feet. Residents enjoyed learning about foot health and ways to keep their feet happy and healthy. Memory Care residents enjoyed a wonderful musical afternoon with Hann on the accordion today. The beautiful melodies filled the room as residents tapped their feet, sang along, and shared smiles with one another. In Memory Care, residents enjoyed a new program called Front Porch Stories. This week's story, The Lost Pie, sparked wonderful conversations and memories. Residents explored a collection of vintage kitchen tools and shared stories about the meals, desserts, and family recipes they used to make in their own kitchens. Residents have been hard at work getting ready for The Grande Hee Haw Show on June 16th! From rehearsing skits and learning their lines to creating props and adding their own special touches, everyone has been getting into the country spirit. There have been plenty of laughs along the way as residents discover their inner comedians and performers. The excitement is building, and we can't wait to see all their hard work come together on show day. As they say on Hee Haw, "Y'all come back now, ya hear?" Lots of fun!

Memory Care residents had a wonderful time celebrating our June birthdays! The afternoon was filled with great entertainment, birthday cake, ice cream, and plenty of smiles.

Residents enjoyed singing along to favorite songs, dancing to the music, and celebrating with friends. There was lots of laughter, toe-tapping, and happy memories made as we honored our special birthday residents.

Today, in celebration of World Ocean Day, we honored our June birthdays with a splash-tastic Under the Sea Party! Residents dove into the fun with birthday cake, ice cream, and fantastic entertainment.

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and enough sea-themed fun to make even the mermaids jealous! The birthday stars enjoyed being celebrated while friends sang along, tapped their toes to the music, and enjoyed sweet treats.

Today residents celebrated the Belmont Stakes with a horse race of their very own! 🏇🎉 Horse owners spent the week decorating and preparing their horses for the big event, and the excitement was high as the races got underway.

Empress Jo Ann and Deputy Andy each galloped their way to two victories. In fact, the races were so much fun that one race simply wasn't enough! Residents cheered, laughed, and rooted for their favorites throughout the afternoon.

When the dust settled, Don correctly picked the most winners and took home the betting prize. We can't guarantee these horses will make it to Kentucky next year, but they certainly put on a show today! 🤠🏆🐎 Lots of laughs, friendly competition, and a whole lot of fun at The Grande Senior Living. 😄🎊🏇
