🌟 Aviata Family Spotlight! 🌟

Yunia has been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years and has been a valued member of the Aviata at Brooksville family for the past 9 months.

Originally from Cuba, she moved to Florida in 2015 in search of greater opportunities. Yunia was inspired to become a CNA because she saw how difficult it can be for elderly individuals who are no longer able to care for themselves. Her passion for helping others and providing compassionate care is what led her to this rewarding career.

Her favorite part of working at Aviata at Brooksville is caring for the residents and working alongside such a supportive team. As Yunia says, “I love this place.”

Her greatest accomplishment is raising her 27-year-old son, whom she is incredibly proud of.

Favorite Quote: “Never give up.”

When she’s not at work, Yunia enjoys spending time at the beach, being on the water, fishing, shopping, and treating herself to getting her nails done.

One of her biggest goals is to purchase a home, and we know her dedication and determination will help make that dream a reality.

Aviata Health Group is incredibly proud to share a sneak peek of People Worth Caring About, an upcoming national docuseries created in partnership with Florida Health Care Association.

We are especially proud that Aviata at Emerald Shores was selected as one of only eight skilled nursing centers across Florida invited to participate in this meaningful project.

Filming took place this past April, capturing the people, relationships, and moments that make long-term care so special. The series is expected to begin airing in late fall/early winter, and we cannot wait for audiences to see the heart behind the care provided every day at Emerald Shores.

This opportunity is a wonderful reflection of the compassion and dedication of our team members and the incredible residents who make our community what it is.

Our employees go above and beyond every day, providing compassionate care and making a difference in the lives of our residents. To show our appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and commitment, we treated them to a delicious lunch from the Papa Grill Food Truck!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing staff members who donated, baked goods, and brought in so many delicious sweets and treats. Your kindness, teamwork, and generosity helped make this event such a big hit.

For the past three years, you have continued to bless our center with your kindness, generosity, and support. From clothing, blankets, jackets, and so much more, your donations and time mean more than words can express.
