A few simple habits can help your child start the year strong: prioritize good sleep, encourage healthy meals and hydration, & remind them about regular handwashing and covering coughs & sneezes.

Leaving kids in cars alone even for a few minutes, can have serious consequences. Cars heat up fast, putting children at a severe risk of heatstroke. Kids can get trapped, accidently shift the car gear, or become victims of abduction. According to the The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is no safe amount of time to leave a child alone in a vehicle. It's never safe!
