Grief is often associated with change as you leave something behind, even if you are walking towards something that brings you joy.
Held in the Lungs in Chinese Medicine, grief inspires us to remember how precious life is as you take a breath in, holds you steady in the pause, and gently invites you to let go as you exhale.
As you breathe in here, allow the energy of love and courage to flow into your being. Maybe it appears as a white light, the color of the lungs, or memories or the work that you’ve accomplished to get where you are. Invite it to hold, sustain, and remind you that you are not alone.
As you exhale, return to your foundation (the soles of your feet as they contact the earth) and gently release any physical, emotional, or mental tension through your breath.
Be in the movement, as the gentle rocking motion that comes from your inhale and exhale soothes your soul.
Practice 6-9 times or continue on as a moving meditation until you feel ready.
We’ll be working with grief in my Thursday qigong class at Grace Wellness. If you’d like to join, please click the link in my bio.
See you soon♥️
