Community outings provide meaningful opportunities to practice functional life skills! 🌟

During a recent outing to Target, our client worked on her target goals with support from her RBTs. After being instructed which items to retrieve, she successfully located the items, removed them from the shelf, placed them in the shopping cart, and pushed the cart throughout the store. 🛒👏

These experiences help strengthen following directions, community participation, and independence in natural environments. We are proud of her hard work and progress! ☺️

Huge ABA win today! 🎉

One of our clients independently took out the trash, then used his AAC device to ask if he should take it down to the curb. After getting the go-ahead, he proudly pulled the trash can down for the trash collector all on his own! 🗑️👏

Moments like these are about so much more than chores—they represent communication, independence, problem-solving, and confidence. Watching skills come together in meaningful, real-life situations is what it’s all about. So proud of the progress he’s making every day! 💙

10 years ago, Stepping Stones Therapeutics started in my apartment with a laptop, a dream, and honestly no idea what I was doing.

Today, I’m incredibly grateful for how far we’ve come. What started as a leap of faith grew into something bigger than I ever imagined and that’s because of our amazing staff who pour their hearts into this work every day.

To the families who have trusted us over the years, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and your children’s journeys!
