Not everyone with a balance problem feels dizzy or like the room is spinning.

Sometimes it feels more like:

Walking feels less steady
You reach for walls or furniture
Stairs suddenly feel uncomfortable
Busy stores or crowded spaces make you feel off
You feel unsteady when turning or moving quickly

Your inner ear plays an important role in balance, but it's only one part of a much bigger system involving your eyes and brain, too.

If you've noticed a persistent change in your balance, Peak ENT + Voice Center can help evaluate what's behind it. 💙

🎒🌼 Back-to-school can bring more than new teachers and new routines.

Late-summer allergies can mean congestion, sneezing, itchy eyes, poor sleep—and even difficulty concentrating during the day.

If allergies are interfering with school, work, sleep, or simply enjoying August, Peak ENT + Voice Center can help identify your triggers and explore personalized treatment options.

💙 Don't let allergies take you out of the classroom—or the Colorado outdoors.

🏔️ You know you're a Coloradan when your weekend plans involve elevation gain.

From the foothills and beyond, we're lucky to live somewhere where getting outside is so easy.

Just remember: your ears, nose, and airway have to adjust to Colorado's unique environment, too. 💙

🎶 Love live music? So do we. Just don't forget your ears.

Years of concerts, festivals, sporting events, and other loud environments can add up. Repeated noise exposure can contribute to permanent hearing loss and tinnitus—sometimes before you realize your hearing has changed.

The good news? You don't have to give up the music. 🎸

Quality hearing protection can help reduce your risk while still letting you enjoy the show.

If you're noticing ringing, muffled hearing, or needing more volume after concerts, our Audiology team can help.

💙 Protect your hearing. Keep enjoying the music.

It's not always allergies. When you're lying on your side, blood flow and fluid shifts can cause the nasal tissue on the lower side to swell, making that nostril feel more congested.

Try switching sides or slightly elevating your head. If one side is consistently difficult to breathe through—especially every night—it may be worth having your nasal airway evaluated.

💙 Peak ENT + Voice Center can help determine whether allergies, inflammation, or a structural issue is contributing.

💙 Hearing care that makes a difference.

For nearly three years, Emory has helped guide this patient through their hearing journey—including finding the right hearing aids, which they describe as “life changing.”

We're so grateful for their kind words about Emory's patience, knowledge, and compassionate care.

👃 You keep buying tissues.
You keep trying another nasal spray.
But you're still not breathing well.

Sometimes chronic congestion isn't "just allergies."

Structural issues, chronic sinus inflammation, nasal polyps, or other ENT conditions may be keeping you from breathing comfortably.

At Peak ENT + Voice Center, we help identify the why behind persistent symptoms—so you can find lasting relief.

💙 Because breathing shouldn't be something you have to think about every day.
