Why do we use careful language when talking about wellness products?
You may notice that we don’t say our products “treat,” “cure,” or “prevent” diseases. That isn’t because we don’t believe in the value of herbs, nutrition, or holistic wellness—it’s because health and wellness brands must follow FDA regulations, advertising guidelines, and payment-platform policies.
Using disease-treatment claims can create serious challenges, including:
• Products being removed from websites or marketplaces
• Google restricting visibility or advertising
• Social media content being flagged
• Payment processors limiting or suspending accounts
• Customers being misled about what a product can realistically do
Our responsibility is to educate you about ingredients, traditional uses, wellness goals, preparation methods, and responsible use—without making promises that no product should make.
Natural products can support a healthy lifestyle, but they are not substitutes for professional medical advice. Everyone responds differently, and you should always speak with a qualified healthcare professional—especially if you are pregnant, taking medication, or managing a health condition.
These restrictions can be challenging for small, independent, and Black-owned wellness brands because we are expected to educate responsibly while competing with larger companies that have greater legal and marketing resources.
At Life Gardening Tools, transparency, education, and community protection matter to us. We will continue sharing information in a way that supports your wellness journey while respecting the rules that help keep consumers informed and businesses operating.
