🚨 NEW PROGRAM – EFFECTIVE AUGUST 3, 2026 🚨

Pemberton Borough Police Department Emergency Residential Lockbox Program

The Pemberton Borough Police Department is proud to announce the launch of our Emergency Residential Lockbox Program, effective August 3, 2026.

This free, voluntary program is designed to help police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel quickly access a residence during an emergency while helping to reduce the need for forced entry and unnecessary property damage.

The program is available to eligible residents, including:

• 🏠 Seniors who live alone or spend significant time alone
• ❤️ Individuals with medical conditions or disabilities that may prevent them from answering the door during an emergency
• 👨‍👩‍👧 Other residents approved by the Police Department based on individual circumstances

A secure exterior lockbox containing a house key will be installed at the participant's residence and will only be accessed by emergency responders during a legitimate emergency.

Beginning August 3, 2026, residents may schedule an appointment to meet in person at the Pemberton Borough Police Department to obtain an application, learn more about the program, and determine eligibility.
