For my teens especially. However, This includes in-laws (even brother/sister IN-LAWS), parents, friends, enemies, co-workers, EX's, PREACHERS/DEACONS and their wives, school teachers, your children and this list goes on. 100 years ago courage was fighting or war. Today it's telling someone to their face what you say behind their backs. Do better coward!

If you know me, you know I’m careful about how the word “narcissist” gets used. It’s more than someone being selfish — clinically, it involves a deep pattern of lacking empathy and emotional concern for others.

But many people have dealt with someone who shows strong narcissistic tendencies.

One pattern I see often is this:
When you start doing better in life, they suddenly feel the need to perform for the kids, talk about how great their life is, or point out everything “wrong” with yours.

That reaction usually isn’t about you.

It’s often an emotional response to their own insecurity or lack of success. When someone spends a lot of energy trying to tear you down, it can actually be a sign that you’re moving forward.

Take it as information, not an attack.

Keep focusing on your growth. Keep doing the work. Keep going.
