High in vitamin K and an incredible anti inflammatory basil is one of my all time favorite herbs .. it grows beautifully all summer .. I always felt bad that so much went to waste .. finally I found a way to save it ! Use nonstick bakeware …cut up the basil and put it with some olive oil to cover the basil then freeze overnight .. the next morning .. pop out the basil and put them in baggies in the freezer or save to use for soups, stir fry’s , sauces etc ..
