We would like to take this moment to congratulate, Makayla Dolan, RN on assuming the role of Nurse Manager at Horizons. We are so proud of the many steps she has taken on her journey with us.

Hello everyone,
I want to take a moment to introduce myself as the new manager for the Chamberlain Unit. I have been a registered nurse for six years and have been a part of the Horizons team for over ten years.
From starting at this company as a CNA to working my way up to Nurse Manager, it has always been my commitment to provide the residents at Horizons with the best care possible.
As a leader, I value open communication and creating an environment that promotes teamwork, respect and empowerment so residents can receive the best care possible. My goal is to make everyone feel seen, heard, appreciated and supported.
I understand that Horizons is more than just a healthcare facility – it is a home for our resident. It’s a place of comfort for families and loved ones. It’s where a grandchild colors with their grandmother, where a child enjoys a meal with their parent, or where birthdays and holidays are celebrated together.
Building lasting relationships with residents, their families, and loves ones is one of the most important aspects of caregiving. I look forward to getting to know all of you better and working together to continue building a caring and respectful home for our residents.
