We are honored to partner with the Jekyll Island Arts Association to bring 'Wings of Hope," our residents' art exhibition, to life.

Our dedicated residents at Addington Place of Brunswick are working hard to create personal and meaningful works of art to raise money for The Longest Day and Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's Fundraiser, a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.

These individual works of art will be displayed at The Jekyll Island Arts Association during June.

All proceeds from the gallery sales will go to raise funds for life-changing care, support and research for dementia and Alzheimer's.

We hope that you will stop by the Jekyll Island Arts Association during our opening reception on June 12th at 2:00 pm or throughout the month to see these magnificent works of art and donate to the cause.

Another First Friday means another great afternoon at The Strike Zone! Our residents enjoyed plenty of fun, friendly competition, and lots of laughs along the way. It was wonderful to see so many bowlers out on the lanes cheering each other on and enjoying time together.

Our very own Programming Directors at Senior Lifestyle, Alana K. at Clover Health Care and Kirk B. from Addington Place of Jupiter were featured in the blog “Therapeutic Programming: Cultivating Connection, Purpose & Well-Being,” where they shared insights on how meaningful engagement supports connection, purpose, and overall well-being for residents. Kirk shared, “In my role, I think often about how each day unfolds for residents.

What are they looking forward to? Where are the opportunities to connect, contribute, and stay engaged? The answer isn’t a single program, but the full experience of a thoughtfully designed day.”

The blog also highlights the impact of pet therapy in our communities. Alana shared, “When we see a resident petting an animal, we see them become instantly calm. They stay in the moment, and the rest of the world seems not to matter.” She also noted that residents who are typically quiet and reserved often come out specifically for these visits. What a night!

Our residents enjoyed an unforgettable evening at this year's Prom, Twistin' the Night Away. From the music and dancing to the delicious food and beautiful decorations, the night was filled with laughter, smiles, and wonderful memories.

Congratulations to our 2026 Prom King, Mannuel, and Prom Queen, Carol!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make this special event possible. It truly takes a community, and we are so grateful for the support that helped bring this magical evening to life.
