At Golden Isles Prosthetics & Orthotics, we believe a prosthesis should be more than just functional; it should be personal.

One of our recent patients shared a photo of a rose tattoo she had on her leg before her amputation. That tattoo held special meaning to her, so we digitally recreated the design and incorporated it directly into her new prosthetic socket. To make it even more unique, we added purple flames throughout the design to reflect her favorite color and personal style.

Every patient has a story, and we take pride in creating prosthetic devices that reflect who they are. Whether it’s custom graphics, meaningful artwork, unique colors, or personalized finishes, our goal is to build a prosthesis that not only restores mobility but also helps our patients express themselves with confidence.

🎉 Welcome to the Team, Ken Edwards! 🎉

We’re proud to officially welcome Ken Edwards to Golden Isles Prosthetics & Orthotics!

Ken is a state-licensed, certified orthotist with 37 years of experience serving Southeast Georgia. Throughout his career, he has provided upper extremity, lower extremity, and spinal orthotic care to patients of all ages—helping individuals manage everything from traumatic injuries to complex neurological conditions.

Ken has worked alongside a wide range of healthcare providers, including surgeons, podiatrists, endocrinologists, pediatricians, physiatrists, and physical therapists, delivering collaborative, patient-centered care.

Ken has also dedicated years to serving our local veterans, working closely with the VA to provide high-quality orthotic solutions.

In addition, his work with Children’s Medical Services in Waycross has helped countless children improve alignment, stability, and mobility through custom-designed orthotic devices.

We are thrilled to have Ken’s experience, compassion, and expertise as part of our team!
