Summer hearing tip: protect your ears!

Swimming, concerts, and outdoor events are all part of the fun this time of year β€” but they can also expose your ears to risks like water, noise, and infection.

A few simple habits can go a long way:
πŸ’§ Dry your ears thoroughly after swimming
πŸ”Š Wear ear protection at loud events
🚫 Avoid inserting objects into your ears (yes, cotton buds!)
🩺 Get regular hearing checks β€” especially if you work in noisy environments

Your hearing is worth protecting. If it's been a while since your last check, now's the perfect time.

Hearing loss doesn't just affect the person who has it; it affects the whole family.

Conversations get shorter. Misunderstandings increase. Loved ones feel unheard. It can be frustrating on both sides.

If someone you care about seems to be struggling to hear, a gentle, supportive conversation could make all the difference. Many people don't realize how much their hearing has changed, or they need a little encouragement to seek help.

πŸ’œ June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month β€” and as hearing care professionals, this one is close to our hearts.
Did you know that untreated hearing loss is one of the largest modifiable risk factors for dementia?

Studies show that people with mild hearing loss are nearly twice as likely to develop dementia. For moderate loss, that risk triples.
The brain relies on sound to stay stimulated and connected. When hearing fades and goes untreated, the brain works harder, and over time, that strain takes a toll.

Treating hearing loss won't eliminate dementia risk, but it's one of the most proactive steps you can take to protect your brain health as you age.

This June, go purple for Alzheimer's awareness, and book a free hearing check for yourself or someone you love. πŸ’œ

7 years. That's how long the average person waits before seeking help for hearing loss.

That's 7 years of missed conversations, turned-up TVs, and nodding along, hoping nobody notices. 7 years of your brain working overtime to fill in the gaps.

The sooner you address hearing loss, the better the outcome β€” for your hearing AND your overall health. Don't wait for it to get worse.

Book your free hearing evaluation today. πŸ’™

Did you know untreated hearing loss is one of the leading modifiable risk factors for dementia? 🧠

When your brain works overtime just to process sound, it has less energy for memory and thinking. Over time, that strain adds up.
The good news β€” treating hearing loss early can help protect your cognitive health for the long run. One simple step, one big difference. πŸ’™

Start with a hearing check today.
