With high temperatures comes pool season and summer water activities that require extra vigilance. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4, happening in seconds and often silently. However, it is preventable.

Dr. Collin Stewart, trauma medical director at Banner – University Medical Center, joined KOLD-TV's Tucson Now to share essential water safety tips every parent should know. (via KOLD News 13)

It’s also important to know what to do in the event of an emergency.

During Men's Health Month, we're sharing Fred's story as a reminder that symptoms affecting your health and quality of life should not be ignored. 💙

Fred spent years quietly dealing with symptoms that disrupted his sleep and everyday life before pursuing treatment through Banner Health. Today, he describes his experience as "life-changing."

His message for others is simple: don't ignore symptoms or assume they're just part of getting older. Starting a conversation can make all the difference.

East Morgan County Hospital is proud to connect patients with Banner Health's network of specialists and advanced treatment options at Banner Health North Colorado Medical Center, helping bring expert care closer to home.
