The Doolittle Raid on Tokyo took place on April 18, 1942, during World War II. Richard “Dick” Cole, the last surviving Doolittle Raider, sat beside Jimmy Doolittle in the cockpit of the lead B-25 bomber. Prior to his passing, Cole shared the story of that historic mission with friends around a dining room table, and the taped story and video were proudly presented at Parc by our very own Mr. Bernard Selensky, a friend of Cole’s and one of the individuals responsible for preserving the recording. It was a fascinating presentation enjoyed by a full house! ✈️ 🇺🇸
