Our Foundation, Stronger Futures campaign is about creating a strong foundation for the children and families who walk (or drive!) through the doors of Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center. Our Go Baby Go program is a perfect example of what that future can look like.

Through Go Baby Go, we transform battery-powered ride-on cars into personalized mobility devices for children who may not yet be able to move independently. These little cars help children explore, participate, build confidence and experience independence.

A strong foundation gives a child somewhere to start. A stronger future gives them somewhere to go!

We were delighted to welcome award-winning children's books author Goodwin for a very special visit to Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center!

Renee shared her love of storytelling with us and helped bring a little extra joy and imagination to our therapy community! We are especially grateful for her generous donation of a GG's Life Lesson Storybook Series ® book set to our Speech Language Pathology Department! These wonderful books will become a valuable resource for our therapists to use with the children we serve.

Thank you, Renee, for sharing your time, your stories, and your generosity with BVRC! We are so grateful for community members like you who help make therapy more engaging, meaningful, and fun!

🎉 Great News for Texas Families! 🎉

Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center is proud to announce that we are now an approved vendor for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program!

This means eligible Texas families participating in the state’s school choice program may be able to use TEFA funds toward eligible therapy services at BVRC.

💙 At BVRC, we believe every child deserves access to the therapy and support they need to learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.

If your child receives or needs Physical, Occupational, or Speech Labguage Pathology services, we invite you to learn more about how BVRC may be able to serve your family through the TEFA program.

Happy Fourth of July from BVRC!

This Fourth of July, we proudly celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the sacrifices made by those who have served our country, and the strength of the communities that make the United States of America so special.

At BVRC, we are honored to be part of a community built on compassion, service, and neighbors helping neighbors. Today, we celebrate not only our nation's independence but also the spirit of unity, resilience, and hope that brings us together.

As you gather with family and friends, we encourage everyone to celebrate safely, cherish the time spent with loved ones, and remember those whose courage and dedication have protected the freedoms we hold dear.

We're a bit late to the party, but did you know children in our community can pick a free, age appropriate book every Friday at our local Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries, Inc.? Reading builds essential language and literacy skills, sparks imagination and boosts coginitive development! Books are an essential tool we use at BVRC as well, especially in our programs. Many thanks to our friends at Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries, Inc. for providing such a wonderful opportunity to families in our community!

The love and support of our community never ceases to amaze us!
During month, the Aly Family, proud owners of Saltandsteelarms, raised $500 in support of families we serve in our Speech Language Pathology department.

These funds will cover toys, books and specialized supplies used in therapy. We are incredibly grateful to Jared Aly, and the entire Saltandsteelarms community for supporting the children and families who are receiving care in our Speech Therapy Department!
