September was full of adventure, smiles, and meaningful moments for our residents at Sandstone Post Acute! 💙💛
From breakfast outings and a visit to the Harley-Davidson Museum, to exploring Sauder’s Village, enjoying the Johnny Appleseed Festival at Auglaize Village, and even a little putt-putt golf — our residents had a wonderful month getting out into the community and making new memories together.
At Sandstone, skilled nursing and rehabilitation is about more than care. It’s about connection, engagement, and creating opportunities for our residents to enjoy the things that make life special.
We’re already looking forward to the next adventure! 🍎⛳☕🏍️

Today we honor , the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas finally learned of their freedom—two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
