God can use the quiet moments just as powerfully as the ones everyone sees.

Have a blessed Monday. 💚 Let’s look for the quiet opportunities God places in front of us today.
Serve the One.

You don’t need a platform to make an impact.

Jesus didn’t say, “Go build a stage.”

He said, “Go and make disciples.” — Matthew 28:19

Your kitchen can be a ministry.

Your workplace can be a ministry.

Your classroom can be a ministry.

Your home can be a ministry.

Your social media can be a ministry.

Even a five-minute conversation can become an opportunity to point someone toward Jesus.

Never confuse visibility with fruitfulness.

A microphone can make you heard by thousands, but obedience can change one life.

A stage can give you an audience, but love can give you influence.

A platform can make you known, but servanthood makes Christ known.

Some of the most powerful ministry you will ever do may never be recorded, posted, or applauded.

God sees the prayers you prayed in secret.

The kindness nobody noticed.

The person you encouraged when no one else cared.

The sacrifice you made without receiving recognition.

Heaven sees what people overlook.

So don’t wait for a title before you serve.

Don’t wait for a platform before you preach through your life.

Don’t wait for a microphone before you become a voice of hope.

Don’t wait for a church position before you start serving people.

If you belong to Jesus, you already have a ministry.

Your life is the platform.

Your character is the message.

Your love is the evidence.

Your obedience is the offering.

And your purpose is to make Jesus known.

Because ministry was never about being seen.

It was always about serving.

So serve when nobody is watching.

Love when nobody applauds.

Pray when nobody knows.

Give when nobody thanks you.

And point people to Jesus wherever God has placed you.

🤍 PEOPLE OF CHOSEN | Melissa Blanco 🎂

Today we’re celebrating Melissa Blanco—not only as one of our wonderful Chosen volunteers, but because it’s her birthday! 🥳🎉

Melissa has been volunteering with Chosen for five months, and it all started with a nudge from her boss at The JaxSir Group. As Melissa puts it:

“I’m forever grateful.”

And we’re grateful, too! ❤️

Born and raised in Bryan, Texas, Melissa loves creating art, listening to Sade 🎶, and, of course, pranking the Chosen family. 😂

Her favorite part of volunteering is helping others, and she especially loves seeing the relief on someone’s face after receiving the assistance they need.

“It makes my heart happy.”

Something you might be surprised to learn about Melissa? She’s a Spice Girl!

Okay, okay… wrong Mel B. 😂

Our Mel B is actually an actress! 🎭

Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And when asked why she would encourage someone else to volunteer with Chosen, Melissa said:

“Helping others is more than just generosity. It is an expression of our love for Christ.”

What a beautiful way to live out Serve the One. ❤️

PEOPLE OF CHOSEN | Lawanna 💚

Meet Miss Lawanna! 👋

A lifelong Bryan/College Station resident and surgery scheduler, Lawanna has been volunteering with Chosen in 2026—and we’re so grateful she’s part of the team!

When asked what inspired her to volunteer, Ms. Lawanna shared that when her own family had a need, she experienced so much love and kindness. Now, she’s helping pass that same love along to others.

Her favorite part of Chosen?

“In today’s world, if you can remove stress for someone, show love and understanding, that gives us all such a blessing.”

We couldn’t agree more. ❤️

When she’s not volunteering, Lawanna enjoys camping, dogs, and birds. Her favorite color is green, and her favorite quote pretty much tells you everything you need to know about her:

“Life is short. Eat the cake!” 🍰
