This is absolutely hilarious! Maybe a little creepy...
But it points to few issues: women do feel powerless when diagnosed with osteoporosis, mostly after doing "online research", weight bearing exercise is very beneficial for postmenopausal bone loss.
It is one of the biggest challenge we face in osteoporosis care: patients come with preconceptions about management of bone loss, often misconceptions that have been very difficult to debunk. Keep fighting the good fight every day, on patient at a time!
