Timothy Ellis Wilson

Timothy Ellis Wilson, 69, of Daleville, went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2026. Born on April 26, 1957, in Botetourt County, Tim devoted his life to his family, his faith, and his work. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years and high school sweetheart of 53 years, Vicki; his cherished daughter, Becca, "his gal"; and his son, Daniel, of whom he was so proud; along with his sweet gal, their dog Minnie. He is also survived by his brother, Derrick Wilson (Beverly); his sister-in-law, Brenda Thomas; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He leaves behind many other close family members and dear friends who will miss him more than words can say. A man of deep faith, Tim had a heartfelt love for the Lord and spent many years sharing that love with others. He faithfully preached and ministered at Trinity Baptist Church, where his messages, his kindness, and his steady presence touched many lives. His service to the church and his community was a true reflection of his belief in living out the Gospel every day. Tim was also a skilled electrician and dedicated much of his working life to servicing emergency vehicles. He knew his way around a fire truck better than just about anyone, and he took great pride in knowing that his work helped first responders serve and protect others safely. Those who knew Tim will remember his gentle spirit, his strong faith, his steadfast love for his family, and the way he could make others feel cared for and at ease. His absence leaves a hole in many hearts, and he will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 5 to 8 pm at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastors Darren Meadows and Eugene Mills at 12 Noon on Thursday, June 18, 2026, also at the funeral home. A reception will follow in the Botetourt Event Center. Burial will be private at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Botetourt Funeral Home to help with the cost of funeral expenses.
