It's Buda Goes Purple Week! Join the Alzheimer's Association and City of Buda, TX - City Government tomorrow at the Buda Library for educational sessions:

10am - Know the 10 signs of Alzheimer's and Dementia
11am - Building Healthy Brain Habits

Then join us on Wednesday June 3rd at Meridian for a community mixer to help raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's and dementia. We will have a silent auction and light refreshments, please come out and support the cause!

Well, my horse did not win…but AGE of Central Texas sure did! The Dignity Derby was a smashing success & so much fun. What a wonderful event to to promote their annual Dignity Drive - please join in their efforts to collect over 40,000 packages of adult pull-ups to support older adults & families in need, May 1-31.

We had a great time at the PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Luling grand re-opening of their therapy pool. Such a wonderful resource for the community! Please go check out their amazing facility- they are always happy to give a tour!

We enjoyed a morning of coffee & fellowship with the veteran residents at Buda Oaks, led by our dynamic veteran volunteer, Sgt 1st Class Paul “Freeway” Whitfield.

His positive energy created a welcoming environment for the vets to open up and share stories of their service. Veterans were also presented with a flag pin and a special veteran-themed ornament for the facility’s Christmas Tree.

We were honored to participate & look forward to our next monthly gathering. Thank you for your service & continued dedication to those that have served!
