I decided to stop working as a chiropractic assistant and just do massage until I am fully licensed as a chiropractor. Here are my full time hours in Brea. There’s now another Jacqueline so I’m listed under Jackie.

We will be opening February 1st! Please remember that masks are required for the massage. You must also answer COVID-19 screening questions before your appointment.

As of today, 12/6/2020, Elements Massage in Brea will be closed until January 2nd. My boss has told us that the city is evaluating things on a monthly basis. We have rescheduled appointments already, but only time will tell if January will be the re-open date. Stay safe everyone!

Hello everyone! Elements Massage in Brea is open again. I am working Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons/nights. Please contact Elements Massage to make your appointment.

I’d also like to clarify that I am not taking any personal clients. I will occasionally book for family or friends but I am not taking anyone new. Also, as it says on all of my social media, I am not yet licensed as a chiropractor. I only work as an assistant. You cannot book an appointment with me but you can book an appointment to see the doctors at the office I work at.

Hello everyone, I have a couple of updates for you.

1. Due to COVID, Elements Massage is still closed. I did add Wednesdays to my schedule but once we open again I will have to go back to Saturday and Sundays only (if my schedule will allow it, as explained in #4).

2. Fullerton Spine & Wellness Center is still open and accepting massage appointments. However, September 3rd will be my last day. Until then, my hours remain Mondays 3-7 and Thursdays 9-1. Please do not request me during Mayra’s hours. I was covering her for a couple weeks but she is back. Having me go in during her shift would be denying her income and times are hard enough for all of us.

3. Earlier this year I started as a chiropractic assistant at Chiropractic, Massage, & Nutrition. They are slowly returning to their full-time hours so I am moving from part-time to full time there. I only perform the therapy there which is 5-8 minutes of soft tissue (massage) in combination with other modalities. Please do not ask that I do full hour massages. There are already two full-time massage therapists at the location with plenty of experience and I enjoy receiving massages from both of them. If you need a massage you can book with them.

4. At this time, I do not plan on resuming at-home massages. I have always gone through school juggling a part-time job. Once I graduated from chiropractic school I juggled 3 jobs with unstable hours to try to make ends meet and save for boards. Since I was able to obtain the chiropractic assistant job with more stable hours, I want to devote time to studying for boards instead of working multiple jobs. For this reason, when Elements Massage opens again I will have to evaluate whether or not I have enough time to start there again. At the moment I plan on doing short shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you for your continued support. Please stay safe.

“Some people are protesting on social media. Some people are protesting in the streets. Some are educating themselves. Some are having tough conversations with family. A revolution has many lanes - be kind to yourself and to others who are traveling in the same direction. Just keep your foot on the gas.”

Please remember that not everything has to be documented on social media. Just because someone hasn’t posted it, doesn’t mean they haven’t already donated or protested in person. Alternatively, there are people who pretend to support a cause just for more views. Neither money or performative acts alone are singularly going to solve our problem, but that doesn’t mean they don’t help. Here are some resources to help if you don’t know where to start.

Most importantly, saying Black lives matter does not discredit the value and importance of any other race or the police! We know there are good and bad people in every group. However, we can not let society continue oppress Black people while protecting monsters who abuse their power to target and kill innocent people.
