The Breast Cancer Research Foundation reports that 30 to 50% of breast cancer mutations occur in women who have not traditionally been considered high risk. Its latest article covers research on BRCA1 and BRCA2, genes like CHEK2 and PALB2, and how race and ethnicity affect inherited risk.
