Mental health advocacy is about more than starting conversations. It’s about making sure people know that the community is there when they need them most.

We’re incredibly grateful to partner with Nadja Piatka as we continue spreading the word about our upcoming Yogathon in October.

By sharing her voice and using her platform to advocate for mental health, Nadja is helping us reach more people with an important message: no one should have to navigate life’s hardest moments without support!

Yogathon is an opportunity to come together, move with purpose and raise critical awareness and funds for the resources available right here in WNY.

Thank you, Nadja, for standing alongside us and helping to make mental health a conversation we’re never afraid to have. 💚🧘🏽‍♀️

Join us October 17th at Five Hundred Seneca for the MHA Yogathon. Together, we can turn awareness into action!

This September, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on CASA volunteers, Liz Halvachs and Sarah Stoeckl, a dynamic duo showing us that advocacy can truly be a team effort.

Since becoming CASA volunteers in July 2025, Liz and Sarah have worked together to advocate for a family of seven children - taking the time to understand each child’s needs and consistently showing up for them at school, daycare, home and wherever support is needed.

Their partnership is also a great reminder that you don’t have to become a CASA volunteer alone! Friends, coworkers and family members can train and serve together, combining their individual strengths to make an incredible difference.

Please join us in celebrating Liz and Sarah and thanking them for the care and consistency they give to the children they serve!

On a day centered around remembrance, we also reflect on the people who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting our country, and the families who serve right alongside them. 🇺🇸

Supporting our military community is incredibly important to us. Through our OPCOM program, and our partnership with WNYHeroes.org, we’ve had the privilege of creating opportunities for veterans and military families to connect and find a community of support.

September 11th reminds us of the tremendous sacrifice made by our military members, first responders and their families - not only 25 years ago, but in the years and decades that have followed.

Today, we remember every life lost on 9/11. We honor those who answered the call to serve. And we celebrate the strength and resilience of the military families who continue to sacrifice so much for all of us!

We are grateful for everything OPCOM has allowed us to do together and look forward to continuing to grow this community for years to come.

We remember. We honor. We support. 🇺🇸
