We’re excited to share that the Near Me Dermatology – Allegany team recently visited Randolph Central School District (Randolph, NY) on March 27th! 💙

We met with both middle and high school students to talk about skin health, acne, and the importance of full body skin exams. Our goal was to make these topics simple, relatable, and something they can actually use in their daily lives.

We really loved that the middle schoolers came with lots of questions! It was amazing to see their curiosity and willingness to learn. đź‘Ź

We talked about:

•Why early detection of skin cancer matters (it can truly save lives)

•What happens during a full body skin exam

•Common teen skin concerns like acne and how to manage it with simple routines

We also shared some moisturizers, cleansers, and take-home flyers so students can continue caring for their skin.

Moments like this remind us how important it is to start these conversations early and build healthy habits from a young age.
