Lakeside Academy is a Christian Behavior and Recovery Center for boys aged 13-18 years, who are heading down the wrong path due to substance use, anger management, and other behavioral issues. We are committed to helping troubled teen boys who are heading down the wrong path. We have a safe and affordable camp environment for teens who are struggling with anger management, behavioral issues and/or

addictions. We are built on a foundation of Christian faith – fostering new behaviors, character development, and helping each boy recognize who they were created to be. We do this by providing an amazing environment where they can truly feel like they belong and create new, positive relationships.

Family members are profoundly affected when a loved one becomes addicted to alcohol or another drug. In fact, by the time most people reach out to a counselor, healthcare provider or addiction treatment center for help with a family member’s substance abuse, the situation has typically progressed to a crisis level.

Lakeside Academy provides substance abuse treatment along with recovery support to teen boys struggling with alcohol, drugs, and other co-occurring conditions. This includes support for family and friends impacted by their loved one’s addiction. We understand that families impacted by their loved one’s use need support to heal and learn how to cope.

Project-based learning is an important aspect of our onsite education at Lakeside Academy. The students engage in a variety of activities including metal fabrication, woodworking, gardening, and welding, and can prepare for apprenticeships, college, or seek fulfilling employment once they leave our program.
