I’ve had Rebel Social Spa in my head for a very long time.
I kept waiting until the idea felt completely finished. Until life settled down. Until I felt more confident, more organized and a little less afraid of putting something so personal... and myself... out there.
However, none of that happened.
Life most certainly didn’t settle down. I did not suddenly wake up fearless.... and the idea never arrived with a neat little bow around it.
But lately, life has been a lot. I’ve felt exhausted, overwhelmed + disconnected from myself more times than I’d like to admit.
And somehow, I keep finding my way back at the bathroom sink.
I wash my face. Massage in some oil. Put on music. Sometimes I light a candle or make tea. Nothing dramatic happens. I just feel more like myself when I’m finished.
I can feel the difference between the days I tend to myself and the days I skip it.
That is where Rebel Social Spa really came from.
It didn’t come from having self-care all figured out. It came from needing it too. From realizing that taking care of myself doesn’t have to be another enormous project I start on Monday. Sometimes it’s simply twenty minutes, a clean face and something familiar playing in the background.
So I’m done waiting until I feel completely ready.
The skincare products are mini and travel size, with enough for multiple rituals. This isn’t a box of tiny samples you’ll use once and forget about.
On Sunday, September 13 at 10:30 AM, we’ll get together on Zoom for Facials with Friends. I’ll walk you through every step, explain what you’re using and show you a few simple massage techniques.
If Sunday morning doesn’t work, you’ll receive the recording so you can do it whenever life gives you a minute.
The first 10 kits are $88. After that, they’ll be $98.
Shipping is available, or you can pick yours up at Nickel City.
Make the tea. Light the candle. Turn up the music and wash your face.
We’ll figure out the rest together.
