Thinking about a hair transplant? Dr. Wisiorek here. And there are some things you need to hear first. 👇

I have been doing only hair transplants for the past 10 years. 200 a year. Personally. Start to finish. With one assistant. I do not farm this out to technicians. I do not fly people in from all over the country. I do it. And I am responsible for your hair.

When you are getting consultations, and I encourage you to get as many as possible, ask these two questions 👇

1. Who is doing the procedure? The surgeon or technicians? It is just that simple.
2. How many have they done? I know wonderfully talented plastic surgeons who do four or five hair transplants a year. I do 25 a month. This is a participation sport. The more you dedicate yourself to something, the better you get at it.

And particularly for the African American community 👇

Ask how many Black patients they have worked on. It is exquisitely and technically difficult to properly harvest African American follicles unless you are very practiced at this. Their hair curls on the outside. It also curls under the skin. If you do not know what you are doing, you are not going to get them out successfully.

A follicle extracted properly, handled properly, and planted properly has a 93% chance of regrowth. 💯

Anybody who tells you this is just a white guy's game? They are wrong. I am an expert in African American hair transplants as well.

Ask the questions. Know who is in that room. Your hair depends on it.
