SummerHouse Bailey Place provides thoughtful, compassionate care in a warm, lively senior living community.

We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our residents engage in a variety of activities, such as tai chi, bible study, bingo, card and board games, ice cream socials, and popcorn and movie night. We invite local entertainers to our community, and also go

on outings for picnics, dining at local restaurants, and shopping. Please note: While our community welcomes visitors 24/7, business operations are conducted during standard business hours.

We have been closely monitoring Tropical Storm Edouard as it has the potential to continue to impact our local weather overnight and into tomorrow.

Keeping our residents safe and their families informed remains our top priority. We have strong emergency preparedness plans in place and have taken all preventative actions in our community to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents and team members.

Today, on National Senior Citizens Day, we’re celebrating the wisdom, stories, laughter, and life experiences of the incredible seniors who call our community home.

Every life story is filled with moments worth remembering, accomplishments worth celebrating, and memories that have shaped the people and communities around us. We’re honored to celebrate each resident and all that makes them uniquely who they are.

We are closely monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Bertha with an expected landfall in Louisiana this afternoon. We had a blast at our LUAU with our wonderful residents! We spent the afternoon dancing to live music, sipping on cocktails, and indulging in yummy food! Days like THESE are what make our community so special!!

We spent our Tuesday morning with Mr. Jeremy and his LIVE saxophone entertainment - and it was PHENOMENAL!!

Staying busy and interacting within our community is very important to us - we love seeing our residents enjoying their day to day lives.

Sammy and Rhonda will begin live music at 2:00 sharp, followed by on-theme food and drinks, and of course, some fun games!! This is the perfect opportunity to bring in your loved one who is looking into Assisted Living, but "isn't sure yet." Let them come and see how fun life could be!!
