Do You Have Measles Immunity?
Illinois has reported more measles cases (23) so far this year than the full year last year (14). People with measles can spread the infection 4 days before they have a rash. In these days, they may feel common things like cough, runny nose, and red eyes and might not stay at home. This puts people they come in contact with at risk for infection too. Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has notified us of multiple exposure locations in Illinois including related to train travel: https://dph.illinois.gov/topics-services/diseases-and-conditions/measles/exposure-locations.html
