This is the reason why some patients complain about mid day fogging in their scleral lenses. Protein and deposits from the tear film are being pulled underneath the scleral lens as shown here at 1 o’clock. With we can create a custom molded scleral lens for each patients eye. This will allow us to completely seal down any problematic areas!

Just joking! Your eyes can’t get pregnant but this new in-office test we have sure looks like a pregnancy test! InflammaDry is an in-office dry eye test that checks for elevated MMP-9, an inflammatory marker in the tears. It is mainly used to help identify inflammatory dry eye disease, not just evaporative/MGD dry eye.

These lenses can be life changing for patients with complex corneal conditions and irregular ocular surfaces, including keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, post LASIK or RK complications, corneal transplants, corneal scars, Salzmann’s nodular degeneration, severe dry eye, neurotrophic keratitis, ocular surface disease, glaucoma blebs, pingueculas, and other challenging eye conditions.

We are proud to be one of the few offices in the Los Angeles area offering this technology to help patients achieve better comfort, vision, and quality of life.

A powerful day of vision care in Tijuana, Mexico 🇲🇽. Our clinic setup included 1 phoropter lane, 3 trial frame refraction lanes, a direct ophthalmoscope station, and a full-service optical where patients were able to personally select the frames they loved. We’ll be bringing those frames back to the U.S. to partner with the Essilor Vision Foundation to provide free lenses, helping ensure each patient receives the glasses they need.

Grateful to work alongside passionate optometry students and volunteers making vision care accessible to communities who need it most. 👁️✨

Grateful for an incredible day of service in Tijuana, Mexico 🇲🇽 with the amazing students from Marshall B. Ketchum University College of Optometry. Together we provided free eye exams and glasses to individuals who otherwise may not have access to vision care.

So thankful for these dedicated students who took time out of their busy school schedules to serve others and make a real difference in people’s lives. Vision care is life-changing, and it’s inspiring to see the next generation of optometrists leading with compassion. 👁️❤️
