Here is some thick beautiful hair for your timeline. 👩🏽‍🦱

I used heat on my daughters hair and I wish I would have done it sooner.

We blow dried and straightened it but even blow drying alone made a world of difference.

The fact that I've gone Edward scissor hands twice on her hair this year and she still has all this hair is insane.

I definitely got my hands full but I love doing it.

Happiness is a choice we make everyday and when we want what God wants for us we become clear on what that choice is.

It's not always easy to make that choice, but when we want what God wants for us, that decision becomes effortless.

God Himself will extend his hand out and show signs, miracles, and wonders and all will know He is sovereign.

When we know what God wants for us, we don't want what God does not want for us.

When we give our best to the Lord, He will give his best to us.

We give in the way we treat one another.

We give in the way we treat ourselves.

We give in the way we think.

We give in how we trust in Him.

When we give Him our best, He will do the rest.

Kind vs. Nice 🌿

I used to think being kind meant being nice… but they’re not the same.

Nice is about being liked.
Kindness is about being real.

Nice will ignore red flags to keep the peace.
Kindness sees clearly and moves accordingly.

Nice says: “I don’t want to hurt their feelings.”
Kindness says: “I won’t hurt myself to protect their behavior.”

Nice overextends.
Kindness creates boundaries.

Nice stays where it’s not valued.
Kindness knows when to step back.

I can be soft and still choose distance.
I can be understanding and still say no.

That’s the difference.

Nice keeps people comfortable.
Kindness keeps you whole.
