Pain Science Physical Therapy Tried injections, surgery, or therapy but still in pain? Learn more: painsciencept.com We treat the patient, not just the condition.

Pain Science Physical Therapy helps people with persistent pain find real, evidence-based solutions and lasting relief. Pain Science Physical Therapy takes a whole body approach to treating movement dysfunction. All appointments are one hour long and are administered by a physical therapist - we never pass patients off to an aide or assistant because we don't have any! Our providers are highly ski

lled therapists who greatly enjoy the study and practice of orthopedic rehab and love to give people their mobility back. Our area of expertise is chronic and persistent pain. We accept most major insurance plans, workers comp and auto accident claims, as well as out of pocket payment.

Last week at journal club, Jordi, our student intern at PSPT, taught a mini barre class for half of the meeting 💪

After class, the team discussed how cueing in barre relates to cueing during PT sessions, plus the different ways exercises can be modified depending on the patient or client.

Such a fun and interactive way to learn movement, communication, and clinical reasoning all at once ✨

Strength training is not about pushing through pain.

It is about helping your body and nervous system learn that movement is safe again.

The exercises your provider prescribed are designed to help you build confidence, strength, and resilience at a pace that works for you.

Small, consistent effort can lead to meaningful change.

Recovery isn’t always about huge milestones. Sometimes it’s getting back to the little things people miss most.

Proud of Dr. Abby for helping patients get back to eating, living, and feeling like themselves again 💙

Patients are not failing because they lack motivation.

Many are trying to stay active while navigating:
• flare-ups
• fatigue
• fear
• stress
• work demands
• and uncertainty about how their body will respond

Long-term recovery may depend less on perfect adherence…

…and more on adaptability.

Living with pain for years can affect so much more than just the body. It can impact energy, confidence, mood, and the ability to enjoy daily life.

One patient Dr. Caelen Walker worked with had been dealing with persistent pain for a long time, and it had also started affecting their mental health and outlook on life.

Through physical therapy, they were able to reduce their pain, regain confidence, and get back to doing more of the things they wanted to do.

That is why we do what we do. Physical therapy is not just about reducing pain. It is about helping people get back to living life at the level they want.

Sharing a patient win from one of our amazing clinicians, Dr. Ernesto Garcia-Molina!

He has been working with this patient for years for nervous system dysfunction, and she has been steadily getting better.

Recently, they figured out that the dysautonomia was being driven by upper cervical instability.

After performing specific joint mobilization to a stiff joint in the cervical spine, it made a huge difference in terms of dysautonomia symptoms.

These are the kinds of moments that remind us how important continued learning, clinical reasoning, and individualized care can be when working with complex patients.
